A number without a source and a date doesn’t go out
Why our texts have no percentages “out of thin air”, and every number carries where it came from and when. It’s a principle, not decoration.
Automation pages are full of numbers: “half the hours”, “100% of calls”, “5–10× return within six months”. Each of them sounds like proof, and almost none has two things next to it: where it comes from and when it is from.
Our principle
With us, a number without a source and a date doesn’t go out. Not because we dislike numbers — because a number without context is a promise, and we don’t promise results detached from the process.
Three things follow from that in practice:
- every finding in a report carries its source;
- we publish reports entirely in the open (web and PDF, no e-mail gate), so they can be checked;
- we don’t put statistics from other people’s cases on the site as our own.
Instead of percentages
Instead of “we’ll save you X%”, we show the process: what goes in, what comes out, who stays with the decision. The number appears when it can be counted from your data — with a date and a source. Then it is worth as much as it claims.
